Zurich's colourful carnival weekend
From 20th to 22nd February 2026, ZüriCarneval will bring the city centre to life: with Guggenmusik music, colourful costumes and a lively carnival atmosphere, Zurich will be transformed into a vibrant party zone. At Hirschenplatz, the ‘Minira Guggestadl’ will provide Caribbean and Latin American rhythms in a heated tent, while New Orleans jazz will be celebrated at Münsterhof.

This meeting changed the future of all humankind. The story is told through famous tales from many cultures around the world. Two well-known performers from Denmark and France take you on a journey into our inner world – to love, to travel, to the world beyond, and to the dream of staying young forever.
