Hallyu! The Korean Wave

Hallyu! The Korean Wave showcases South Korea’s vibrant and diverse pop culture. Since first emerging in the late 1990s, this phenomenon has spread to all corners of the world. With over two hundred objects on display, the exhibition not only explores the genesis of hallyu and its links to traditional Korean art but also highlights its global influence on artistic fields, including pop culture, films, fashion, and media. This thematic exhibition presents a dazzling kaleidoscope of South Korea’s artistic and cultural history from K-pop costumes and famous dances to unforgettable film props, music video clips, beauty trends, and fashion made in Korea. Works by media art pioneer Nam June Paik, a recreation of the set from four-time Oscar-winning film Parasite, a Google Art Dance Room where visitors can learn K-Pop moves and dance along with well-known choreographers, and the fascinating revival by South Korean pop stars of iconic hanbok dress are just some of the highlights awaiting visitors at the exhibition.

Following highly successful stops at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Museum Rietberg is the only venue in Europe displaying this spectacular exhibition, originally conceived by the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Breath & Sound Experience

Join us for our very first Breath and Sound Experience by The Reset Lab.


It’s a 1.5-hour journey where we’ll combine two of the most powerful tools we know: the art of breath and the art of sound.


Breath is a beautiful way to purify, release tension, and calm the nervous system. Sound helps to harmonize and realign, bringing the body into a state of deep peace and divine resonance. Together, they create pure magic.


This is the launch of a brand-new project, and we’d love to have you with us!
Led by MaryNova (sound healer and wellness coach) and Manuel (certified breathwork practitioner), the space will be gentle, grounding, and heart-opening. Registration and Event logistics is managed by Zahira.


As a special thank-you for joining our very first event, we’re offering it at half price – only 30 CHF (we accept cash and twint at the event)

Mindful Morning with Senta Hüssy is a gentle slow-flow yoga class that lovingly accompanies you into the day. With mindful movement, conscious breathing and flowing sequences, you will arrive at your centre – calm, clear and strengthened. A space to realign yourself, gently awaken your body and start the day with new energy and inner focus. Every Wednesday morning at 08:00 a.m., I invite you to practise together in the special atmosphere of the beautiful and unique machine hall of the B2 Hotel Zurich. Caliente! Latin Music Festival

One of Zurich's most popular summer party highlights! A colourful festival in Zurich for lovers of Latin American music, cuisine and culture from 4th to 6th July 2025.


On the first weekend in July, the Kasernenareal will be filled with dancing and partying to the music of lively live bands, drumming Brazilian percussion groups and the booming bass of DJs. With exotic food, tropical drinks and lots of live shows, the neighbourhood will be transformed into a lively ‘barrio’ that could be anywhere in the Caribbean. On Sunday, there will be a big family festival with exclusive attractions and highlights for young and old (Sunday: free admission for everyone!).

Storytelling is as old as humanity itself and has lost none of its magic over the millennia. Knowledge and experience have been passed on from one generation to the next in the form of stories. Tales are told from person to person in colourful, imaginative images. Everyone who listens experiences their own story and will be surprised by the accessibility of this type of performance. The storyteller is director, performer, dramaturge, stage, costume and make-up designer all in one. Theatre in its ultimate reduction. Next event 23 - 25 October 2025 (Tickets on sale from summer).
