It was once the largest beer brewery in Switzerland: the Hürlimann Brewery in Zurich. Albert Hürlimann started up the brewery in 1867 and led it to success. However, in 1996, after 130 years, the last beer was brewed in the Enge district. Today, after an extensive redesign, people relax, bathe, work and spend the night on the historic grounds and behind the impressive walls.
